To celebrate Belzona’s 71st anniversary, on the 14th of February 2023, the Company launched its 71st Anniversary Charity Initiative. This involves Belzona’s Corporate Offices and its authorised Distributor network centering their charitable efforts around the number 71.
After speaking with a local Orphanage in Nanjing, the Belzona team decided to donate some essential items to the Orphanage. These items included packs of nappies, wet wipes, toilet rolls, mosquito spray and books. Each item was donated in quantities of 71, in keeping with the Company’s 71st Anniversary Charity Initiative.
In June 2023, a few staff members from Belzona Molecular Technology (Nanjing) Ltd, Belzona’s Corporate Office in China, travelled to the Orphanage to meet the wonderful teachers who work there and to deliver the donated items.
A representative of the teachers said: “The items you donated are greatly needed for our Orphanage. With the mosquito spray, our children will have a mosquito-bite free summer. I’m sure they will enjoy reading the books as well. Please accept our sincerest appreciation from everyone at the Orphanage.”
The Orphanage does incredible work in supporting the holistic growth and development of orphans, and the Belzona team was honoured to have the opportunity to support them by donating these items. Going forwards, Belzona would like to continue their support for the Orphanage through regular donations, fundraising and voluntary work.
The launch of the 71st Anniversary Charity Initiative coincided with the introduction of Belzona’s new Mission and Values Statement. This Statement is centred around the values of “Investment, Innovation, and Integrity”. By donating these items to the Orphanage, this reflects Belzona’s commitment to ‘investing’ in the wider community.
