Water Activated Pipe Repair Wrap

Belzona 9631 is a water-activated pipe wrap for leaks kit containing a 5 cm x 150 cm (2 in x 60 in) fiberglass pre-impregnated wrap. Packaged in a hermetically sealed foil pouch, it is ready to use and does not require any measuring or mixing.

It is odourless and very simple to apply. Belzona 9631 bonds well to copper, steel, SS, PVC and many other substrates. This water-activated pipe repair wrap is a versatile solution for industries where quick-action pipe repairs are critical.

Belzona 9631 can be applied to a variety of pipes offline. To repair live leaks, other Belzona systems can be used, including Belzona 1212 applied in conjunction with a 3D-printed mesh.

Working Life and Cure

6min at 10°C/50°F
12min at 5°C/41°F
Belzona 9631 will harden in 60-90 minutes at 68°F/20°C but curing will take longer in dry climates or cold temperatures.

Flexural Properties

When determined in accordance with ASTM D790, following cure at 68°F/20°C, typical values for Belzona 9631 tested as a nine-layer composite will be:
Flexural Strength: 23.8 x 103 psi / 165 MPa
Flexural Modulus: 22.3 x 105 psi / 15380 MPa
