On Saturday 6th August, Belzona Head Office staff were fortunate enough to celebrate the annual summer party in Harrogate, UK.
The Corporate Development Department laid on a festival of delights, playing on the carnival theme by providing a range of party games such as a coconut shy and hook-a-duck. The showstoppers were undoubtedly the helter-skelter and the teacup ride, which were thoroughly enjoyed by employees’ kids and big kids alike!
Staff were also treated to a barbeque dinner, with options including smoked salmon, marinated chicken, roasted vegetables, beef and vegetarian burgers, a range of salads and, most importantly, profiteroles and lemon tart for dessert! Once their stomachs had settled, employees came together to hit the dance floor with newly acquired balloon animals.
Visiting from our Thailand Office, Worakamon Wipatkrut, Corporate Development Assistant, thoroughly enjoyed herself: “The party was amazing! So many great games and different types of food; I especially enjoyed the lemon tart with raspberry sauce – very yummy! I also really enjoyed riding the spinning teacups – in fact, they were so fun that I went on them five times! Thank you for organising this event!”
A great time was had by all, with memories being created to deepen relationships between colleagues. Newly joined Customer Service Executive, Stefan Page, said, “The work summer party was awesome, and it was a great way to meet a lot of the team, a very positive start to my journey at Belzona!”
