Belzona’s First Marketing Essentials Workshop in Latin America

In March, Belzona hosted the Marketing Essentials Workshop for Latin American Distributors and their marketing personnel in Bogota, Colombia, making it the third event of its kind for the Belzona Network. The event marks the first marketing training in Latin America. It took place over three days and during this time, the Marketing Team along with a marketing research company met with representatives from Distributorships from all over Latin America to start planning an effective marketing strategy for the region.

Day One of the Marketing Essentials Workshop

The first day of the event saw presentations from the Belzona Marketing Team and the third-party marketing research company. The Marketing Team focused on presentations such as Creating a SWOT analysis, The Benefits of a CRM in a Distributorship, and A Walkthrough of the Belzona Electronic Library. The marketing research company focused on presentations that focused on SEO, CRMs, and AI. Finally, the presenters and attendees enjoyed dinner at the hotel’s in-house restaurant.

Day Two and Three of the Marketing Essentials Workshop

Day two of the event saw presentations such as Aligning with the Belzona Brand, How to Use Canva, B2B Marketing Content, and a walkthrough of Belzona Talk and KHIA site. The marketing research company spoke about how Distributors can improve their online presence with digital ads, social media, and WhatsApp. The presentations closed with a fun trivia game where winners received special Belzona-themed prizes.

Day three was dedicated to one-on-one discussions with each of the Distributors’ attendees. The Belzona Marketing Team split up and spoke with each one of the attendees to clarify any pressing questions. Additionally, the team took back ideas to Miami and created an action plan on how to better help the Distributors in Latin America.

Results of the Workshop

This training was not only a great opportunity to convey our marketing knowledge, but most importantly for me, it was about having that person-to-person contact, putting a face to our human talent.

The Marketing Essentials Workshop in Latin America was successful. The attendees felt inspired and will take what they learned and adapt it to their needs and territory. The Marketing Team has received feedback from the three events and will create action plans for each region, making sure each Distributor has what they need to successfully promote Belzona.
