We are thrilled to announce that Belzona has won the International Business of the Year Award at the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards. This prestigious award, which celebrates UK companies which have expanded overseas, is a fantastic testament to Belzona’s global growth.
The black-tie event, hosted at Headingley Stadium, marked an evening of celebration, and recognition of outstanding achievements in the business community. With over 400 people in attendance, the awards brought together Yorkshire’s top businesses as BBC Look North’s Amy Garcia announced and presented the awards. Belzona is particularly proud to have been selected, especially considering the fierce competition with over 260 submissions entered for the awards this year.

In order to be considered for the award, Belzona had to demonstrate the ways in which growing internationally has benefitted the business. Since beginning to export in the 1960s from its Yorkshire base, Belzona has built an International Authorised Distributor Network consisting of experienced maintenance engineers, each of whom manages the supply of Belzona solutions to a respective territory. This Award is particularly special as it simultaneously recognises this local history and Belzona’s continuous commitment to excellence in international trade.
Today, from its Corporate Offices in Harrogate (United Kingdom), Miami (United States), Chonburi (Thailand) and, most recently, Jiangsu (China), Belzona exports its cutting-edge solutions to global markets.
